In the twenty-third century Marybell (Puss) and Kristina (Boots) are hardened veterans of the Chin wars. They arrive in what is formerly British Columbia. As contract bounty hunters for the Network, their task is simple and straightforward: collect an asset that had escaped, and return it safely to the Network - alive. And the task begins easily enough: the mark is located and swiftly captured. But then - as is often the case - something somewhat straightforward gets complicated as others appear on the scene to throw both women off their game.

Before long, the women find themselves in a struggle that will change their lives forever.
